There are many types of readings and Tarot is one of them. Tarot has been around for thousands of years. Tarot cards first began as playing cards, and have been used by Kings and Queens. Tarot - just like with any divination tool - tunes into what you are going through.

There are 78 cards in a Tarot deck, consisting of 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana, divided into 4 suits—Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles.

The 22 major arcana represent your spiritual journey in life. The 56 minor arcana cards represents your day to day life issues each of the four suits has 14 cards: ten numbered cards, (ace through ten) and four royal cards, a page, knight, queen and king. The four suits of the deck—Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles—correlate to the four elements; earth-pentacles, air-swords, fire-wands; water-cups, and the astrological signs as well as numerology. The symbolism wrapped up in any one card is amazing. You have numerology, astrology ancient symbolism, colors and the stories that paint a bigger picture about you and what youÕre going through.

Whatever cards you happen to pick or that pick you is a reflection of what is going on in your life at the time, on all levels. There is no coincidence. You set your intention to be clear and to receive clear guidance and you trust the cards that come up for you.

The wands represent the spiritual, enthusiasm, action, passion and enterprising journeys, the element Fire. The cups represent emotion, water, maters of the heart, feelings, and relationships. The swords, your mind, everything having to do with communication and clarity. Pentacles, the physical realm, business decisions, down to earth issues and practical issues.

There are 100s of different tarot decks, all sizes and shapes. Choosing a tarot deck should be a very personal experience. One needs to buy the one they feel connected to the most. Its all about connection. When I do a Tarot reading I connect with my client's higher self and my higher self to receive the highest and clearest information that my client needs. I absolutely trust what comes through. The cards are a symbolic language packed full of archetypes and information. What also seems to happen is the cards the client chooses are actually activators, as I look at them more information comes through for the client. The Tarot is a reflection of what is going on in your life. Take a deeper look at your life through the mirror of Tarot. When one shuffles the deck, that person's energy mixes with the energy of the cards and tells a story about what that person is going through. We can all use that kind of clarity and confirmation.
